Description
This turned out better than I expected. Maybe next time I'll make the colors stronger, but it still looks good. I just used Ultramarine Blue and Burnt Umber, as I'm learning in my coloring class, "less is more". I also think this is the best self portrait I've done in a while (kinda looks like me)
Stay tuned: I have other things more related to my sequel comic coming soon (maybe as soon as tomorrow!)
The sketches on the wall show characters from my comic, Concerning Rosamond Grey.

This came out really well. Less is certainly more. ^^
I like how you included your art works within the art.
That's an interesting and cool touch. I also like the work space you
depicted there. I've always dreamed of wanting a work station just like this or similar.
For years, my lap, the kitchen counter, even the toilet seat cover or my note book,
was as good a work station as it ever got for me. It's a long story, let's just say, I've been
dealt with the short end of the stick when it comes to doing art, but it forced me to be innovative
beyond the drawing paper and I learned to improvise allot. over the years, well, it became a form of
art for me, I guess.
But anyway, back to your art work, I like the self portrait. I enjoy the visual composition and the expression
of your self in the drawing, as I would imagine how many of us would look when focusing on drawing. Overall,
awesome work.
Interesting synopsis to your comic. Visual story telling is allot of fun. And it certainly takes time to plan things out from
storyboarding the visual panels, writings and note keeping, to finalizing it onto the paper. A creative atmosphere is so important to have. I usually work best in solitude, which I almost never have. But it is so important to have a work station to be able to concentrate and even have some visual references as well. This art work is inspiring to me, and it gives me something to hope for.
One day, I'll have my own place with a room and a convenient work station. it may be awhile, but I'm still striving towards it.
