In the late 19th century, little Rosamond Grey snuck into the woods one night, and was found unconsciousness the next day. For years afterwards she suffers from seizures from an unknown ailment. Dr. Glass is loosing hope for her cure, until a strange foreigner hints of a different cause…
Comment: I think this is the earliest I've turned in a page on Tuesday. ^^
So two things in particular that worked well for the figure in panel one: I used an actual photo reference for Eli's pose, and secondly I had his head at a tilt and not straight-on. This was the panel where I realized that adding a little of an angle makes the character look more interesting. The thing that did not work well was using free-hand for his suite stripes/shading; you notice I used a ruler on his sleeve in the second panel.
Materials used: Pilot drafting ink, Pro-white, maru and spoon nib pens, I-C paper, minimal Photoshop for words and clean-up.
