In the late 19th century, little Rosamond Grey snuck into the woods one night, and was found unconsciousness the next day. For years afterwards she suffers from seizures from an unknown ailment. Dr. Glass is loosing hope for her cure, until a strange foreigner hints of a different cause…
Comment: My CS4 version of Photoshop is giving up the ghost, so I used Gimp to give the final touches here. I will see if Gimp will satisfy my needs in the future, or if I need to look for other alternatives.
Anyway, my intention with this page was to mirror the very first page of the comic. My challenges with this page were 1. bird's eye view foreshortening, and 2. multiple light sources.
Materials: Pilot drafting ink Kaimei Lettering Sol, Pro-white, I-C paper, maru-pen, spoon pen, Copic markers, Photoshop and Gimp for words and cleanup.
