I also realize that I have three outfits that I put my Victorian characters in: Victoria dresses, suits, or basic shirt/pants/boots. I need to explore other options.
Chaucer is one of the cats of Richard Snow (I haven't decided how many he will have yet). Richard was born to a poor couple that lived and worked on a Southern plantation. He was orphaned as an infant when Nishas attacked the plantation and almost died himself, but Elaishar and his Shas rescued him in time. He was taken in by a black slave, and together they used the underground railroad and ventured West. Richard became one of the few humans Elaishar would confide in. Mr. Snow lives in a cabin with his cats, and earns his living by hunting and the fur trade. He will be a supporting character in my second comic, Atannan.

So far, I think that's the only view I can draw of cats. Since there will be lots of cats in the sequel comic, I'll need to work on these too.
